Part-Time Preschool Teacher Needed for Fall 2024

The Tobin School is seeking a warm, nurturing early childhood educator to join our our combined Preschool / PreK classroom to begin in late August 2024. This is a combined class of up to 14 children per day, working with a PreK Teacher to support the needs of both these age groups.  This is a four day a week job,  20 hours a week, Tuesday-Friday, 7:30-2:30 each day, following an academic year calendar with closures on all Natick Public School vacations and early release days. This educator will work collaboratively with a PreK teacher to ensure child supervision, extensive curriculum planning, assessment, parent communication, and ensuring adherence to all safety and sanitation protocols. Teachers are encouraged to be creative in their curriculum planning as we help our students grow!

This group will work in two adjacent classrooms, combining for morning choice, snack, lunch, and outside times, but can split for other learning activities. This is a school-year position, running from late August to late June. Summer work may be available if desired in our Summer at Tobin Jr. program in July and August. 

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be EEC Teacher certified for PS/PreK age group.
• Experience teaching Preschool.
• Candidate must be successful working in a teaching team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults is a must!
