Tobin Afterschool in Natick is seeking enthusiastic, energetic full and part time educators here Natick campus for the 23-24 school year. Teach PE, Art, Yoga, Music, Coding, or other special subjects to our students here at Tobin!

Full Time Positions:

  • Working a 40 hour week, with paid 1/2 hour breaks daily, spending 10:00-1:00 at one of our early childhood programs from 10-1, then working 1:00-6:00 at our Tobin Afterschool program
  • Variable hours may be requested on school vacation days and snow days
  • Year round employment options

Part Time Positions: 

  • Part-time positions of 25-30 hours per week, working 1:00-6:00, Monday to Friday at our Tobin Afterschool program
  • Extended hours needed on public school early release days, school vacation days, and snow days
  • School year position with option of summer employment

About The Tobin Schools Natick:

The Tobin School in Natick operates three programs on its large Natick Campus. The Tobin Children's School offers full-year, full-day early childhood options for infants up to PreK. The Tobin School offers school-year, school-day early childhood early childhood programs for preschool up to to JrK. Tobin Afterschool offers afterschool and vacation week care for grades K to 4, as well as summer options for children 4.5 to those entering Grade 5. All of our programs are nationally accredited for their high quality care and offerings.

We offer a wide variety of activities and learning opportunities for our students in our large, spacious indoor spaces. We also share a variety of beautiful outdoor learning spaces, including: Infant, Toddler, Preschool/PreK, and School-Aged Playgrounds, garden areas, large turf field, basketball court and large paved space, gaga pit, nature spaces, mud kitchen and loose parts area, and more.

Position Description:

  • Work closely in a team-teaching atmosphere providing a warm, caring environment for children.
  • Guide and support the children in their development of interpersonal skills in a fun, respectful, and safe environment. 
  • Establish and maintain a positive interpersonal relationship with all children, faculty and parents/guardians. 
  • Oversee and facilitate the general safety of the children’s environment and activities.
  • Act as a role model for the children regarding appearance and behavior, communicating with children in a clear professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be 18 or older
  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting
  • Eagerness to join our professional team of educators
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or Dept. of Education Early Education and Care (EEC) licensing is a real plus!
